The New Zealand Association of Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc. came into being in 1999 bringing about a drawing together of practitioners and students for professionalism and accountability.

This enabled certified practitioners to be recognised and ratified by the New Zealand Charter of Health Practitioners Inc.  The standards required by this body are stringent and ensure that only fully qualifed practitioners are accepted.
